FWBA Mission and Purpose
The Fort Washington Business Alliance is a volunteer organization representing all those who have a vested interest in the Fort Washington Office Park and the surrounding area, including owners, employers, employees, and contractors.
The group serves to maintain, enhance and promote the Fort Washington area as a leading center of business and commerce in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
The organization acts as a sounding board and lobbying voice to undertake those actions that assist the community in attracting and retaining quality businesses that are in concert with a renowned quality of life that will protect the property values for all Upper Dublin property owners.
A Brief History
On February 14, 1995 the Fort Washington Office Park Advisory Council was officially recognized by Upper Dublin Township's Board of Commissioners as the spokes body for the office center. The township provided a one-time grant to help the organization become established. It was agreed that such an alliance would help to improve and maintain a healthy occupancy rate in the park by addressing relevant issues and strengthening the Fort Washington Office Park image.
The organization's name was changed in 2002 to the Fort Washington Business Alliance (FWBA) to better reflect its mission. A volunteer Executive Board meets regularly to review meeting schedules and topics, newsletter content, member services, and future events.
